Contract Review

Contract review usually involves company Principals, General Counsel, Project Administrators, and Project Executives. All are required to review the contract and make sure it conforms to our internal requirements. Although not exhaust, we have prepared a contract review checklist to aid in reviewing contracts.

When preparing a contract comment document for the client, it is important to only object where necessary and to avoid torturing the client. Keep in mind that we should behave how we would like subcontractors to behave towards us. Frivolous objections and unnecessary corrections should be avoided. It is important to also avoid subjecting the client to multiple lists and new comments. Wherever possible, comments from the internal Monadnock team should be combined and culled for duplicates.
